Hadley Middle School teachers rock

Receive delivery of classroom supplies from local Verizon store

Hadley Middle School teachers are always going above and beyond to help students learn.

To honor their commitment, representatives from our local Verizon store recently stopped by the school to shake their hands and thank them for their efforts by delivering boxes of classroom supplies.

It’s all part of the company’s Culture of Good program — a movement to show teachers they are appreciated.

“Each year, we reach out to the schools in our communities and let them know that we think teachers rock,” the company explained on its website. “We do this by providing teachers with boxes filled with classroom supplies that they would typically use their own money to purchase.

“We hope we can take one less stress off of them with this gesture, and hopefully it helps them focus on what matters to them the most — education.”

According to the company’s Culture of Good website, the company donated 5,000 boxes of supplies to teachers across the country in February and March.
