Hadley celebrates Pi Day with pie … in the face

Students pay $1 each to “cream” their teachers

Pi Day took on a special meeting Tuesday, March 14 when teachers and staff volunteered to take a pie in the face.

They lined up — five or six at a time — and waited as students paid $1 each to toss a whipped cream pie at them.

The selection of teachers and administrators changed each lunch period as students filtered in to eat.

The annual fundraiser is a popular one at Hadley Middle School, raising money for the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
